Robert and Janz are the proprietors of a guesthouse in the centre of the English Lake District, famous for romantic poets - Wordsworth, Coleridge, and Beatrix Potter. Museums, mansions/castles, Lake Windermere, National Park land, Dales Way walk are all within 2 - 5 minutes' walking distance. Activities include climbing, walking, riding, boating, yachting, canoeing, steam boat rides, cycling, golf, etc. Attractions include Dove Cottage, Beatrix Potter Gallery, Hill Top, other South Lakes villages, within easy driving distance - Grasmere, Ambleside, Coniston, Hawkshead - Grizedale Forest, Fellfoot Country Park - and local markets. Robert and Janz are interested in meeting people and getting to know them. They would love for Christian groups to use the guest house for praise and worship meetings in the quieter times. Alpha groups? Christian retreats? Or just Christians on holiday. There is a dog on the property which is not allowed into the guesthouse part of the house. Robert and Janz are interested in meeting other Christians. The guesthouse consits of 11 bedrooms - 8 doubles, 2 family/twin, 3 singles - all with ensuite/private facilities with lake views or views to the National Park. Lounge available with fireplace.

Tom and Karen live in a beautifully scenic area, with the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the especially beautiful area of Swaledale. Reeth, a village full of charisma, is about 7 minutes walk away. Nearby are coffee shops, famous local ice cream, a museum with all the lead mining local history, a real center for walkers to stay who want to explore the surrounding countryside. Tom and Karen are actually on the coast to coast national walk route. They are easily accessible to the Richmond-Reeth road but are tucked off it (with off-road parking) and back onto rolling hills up to Fremington Edge. There are many walks right from their door, but also there are the market towns of Leyburn and Richmond 10 miles away, a lovely drive or bus journey (there is a bus stop 100 yards away). It is a peaceful area, a good place to come close to God, a stillness away from all the usual demands. Their rooms are very peaceful. Tom and Karen enjoy the presence of God so encourage Him to stay around. They watch Christian TV now and again and have worship and prayer times which guests are very welcome to join if they wish. Tom and Karen worship at a Christian Fellowship church.
