Robin and Lavinia live in a bungalow outside the village. Ballykinier is close to the beach. There are beautiful walks nearby. Newcastle seaside town is 20 minutes away where the Mourne mountains can be seen sweeping down to the sea. Downpatrick market town is 7 miles away. Here the site of St. Patrick’s grave is to be found at Down Cathedral. Downpatrick also has a museum. Beautiful scenery is as readily found as an Irish welcome. Robin is retired. He enjoys reading, walking and watching wildlife. Lavinia is a homemaker. She is involved in counselling and speaks in various churches. She loves crafts, sewing and making things made of driftwood found on the beach. They worship at a Baptist church. 1 Room 1D

Paul and Margaret live just 9 miles SE of Belfast in a beautiful setting. They are near the seaside on the edge of arable farming area. There is walking, sailing, golf, historic buildings and gardens, and wildlife (bird sanctuary). Belfast provides opportunities to visit theatre, museums and shopping. Paul is retired and is active in Christian work. His interests include travel, walking, gardening and reading. Margaret enjoys gardening, patchwork, card making and Creative Memories (creating memorable photo albums). They both enjoy their grandchildren. Paul and Margaret worship at a Baptist church.

Ed and Anne live in a delightful 2-storey red brick terraced chalet house on the shore of Strangford Lough with views. The house has much character with every modern convenience. Ed and Anne are interested in promoting the local Youth for Christ drop-in centre. They are also interested in encouraging Christians in leadership. They worship at a large Christian church in Belfast. The following activities are in the area: water sports, walks, parks, castles, golf, hiking, mountains, history and sightseeing. 1 Room 2T
