Robert & Karen live at the 8100 foot level in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona. The weather there is mild. Recreation includes hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, snow sports Robert and Karen are both retired. Their interests include bird watching, fishing, hiking, hunting, snow mobiling, motorcycle trips, folkart painting, reading. Robert and Karen worship at a Bible church. 2 Rooms 2Q

Jerry and Juana live along Hwy 180 with the Grand canyon about 75 miles north. The Museum of Northern Arizona is less than a mile south. The Snowbowl is 30 minutes north. The Hopi and Navajo Reservations are a day trip away. Jerry is retired from Monterey County Water Resources and is now a docent of the Museum of Northern Arizona leading tours to the Hopi and Navajo Reservation as well as tours to the museum. His other hobbies include archeoastronomy and model railroads. Juana is currently working for Northern Arizona Council of Governments (Head Start, Area Agency on Aging, etc.) and has also taught preschool in California. She enjoys crafts , sewing and studying dance. Jerry and Juana worship at Christ’s Church. 1 Room 1T 1F

Steve and Sharon live close to golf courses, art galleries, lots of hiking and nearby lakes. They are 5 hours from the Grand Canyon and 3-4 hours from skiing. Steve is a business administrator of a church. Sharon is a homemaker and Bible teacher. They enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and families. They like the adventure of travel. John and Rebecca’s apartment is located in east Mesa, a part of the Phoenix metroplex. Not far away are numerous outdoor attractions, including the Superstition Mountains, lakes, the Phoenix Zoo and two botanical gardens. They live near a shopping mall and many restaurants. John works part-time as a driver for developmentally disabled adults. He enjoys Bluegrass Gospel music and plays guitar on one of the church worship teams. Rebecca is retired. She sings in the church choir and enjoys baking things that people probably shouldn’t eat. Both are enthusiastic supporters of missions. John and Rebecca worship at an Assembly of God church. 1 Room 1D

Gordon is retired. His hobby is stained glass creations. Verna is a nurse. Her interests include reading and antique shopping. They are both involved with church activities such as AWANA. They live very close to the largest shopping center in the valley. Also they are close to the Peoria Sport Complex - home of spring training of the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres. Walter is a retired sheet metal and air conditioning worker and is also a licensed private pilot. He is very active in building and flying radio-control model airplanes. Marcia is retired from elder care management. They both enjoy playing bridge and traveling. Nearby is the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona. Prescott is a resort town on the edge of a forest and is at 5,000 feet elevation. Walter and Marcia attend a Bible chapel. 2 Rooms 2T 1Q

Susan and Luis live close to fine restaurants, hiking, golf, shopping, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West, WestWorld, Rawhide, horseback riding, desert tours, museums and other attractions. Luis is an independent insurance adjuster. Susan is a bookkeeper. They worship at an Independent Christian home meeting.
