Interesting sites in their area include the Konza Prairie--a rare virgin prairieland with buffalo, tallgrass and many paths for viewing the wildlife. Tuttle Creek Lake is a “must see” with 13,350 acres for sports and recreation.

McPherson has 2 colleges which offer theatre and musical events. Downtown has a variety of stores, restaurants, and several nice parks. Tom and Ginna worship at a Free Methodist church.

They enjoy the peace of their farm, traveling and children. Close by are Sterling Lake and Sterling College (church related). Nearby is Hutchinson which has an Omnimax theater, planetarium and space exhibits. This family worships at a Presbyterian church.

Bill and Jeanne’s home is located on a cattle ranch in the Flint Hills of Kansas. they are semi-retired cattle ranchers. They love the outdoors and enjoy bird watching, traveling, reading, sports and especially enjoy church and friends. Their ranch is next to the Tall Grass Prairie National preserve located on the Santa Fe Trail. Emporia is 25 minutes east. Kansas State U. is 55 miles to the north. There are many historic and cultural places of interest in the vicinity.
