Richard, a semi retired farmer, enjoys raising and training Morgan horses. Mary enjoys quilting and gardening. They both like biking, travel and games. Nearby are the Sthur Museum, Edgerton “hands-on” Learning Center, iMax Theater, and the Oasis Water Park. Richard gives horse drawn carriage rides. Betty and Garland are extremely involved in various phases of Prison Ministry and Volunteer work at Veterans Hospital. They also teach English to Chinese immigrants. Betty leads a Bible Study Fellowship Discussion Group. Nearby are the nationally famous Henry Doorly Zoo, Largest Rain Forest, Large Shark Aquarium, Largest Desert Display, Western Heritage Museum in former Union Depot.
