Located 90 miles S of Dallas and 40 miles E of Waco, this Christian Retreat Center takes in travelers. Director, Dr. James Parker, is in residence part-time while teaching at a large Baptist seminary part of the year and speaking and traveling some of the remainder of the time. Managers, Chuck and BJ Wyatt, have lived all over the world, doing volunteer mission work in Guam, Haiti, Japan, Africa and in various parts of the States since retiring from the Navy several years ago. They have an interesting collection of artifacts from their travels. Nearby is Ft. Parker (a restored 1830's fort museum) and Lake Mexia. Trinity Christian Institute is a retreat center.
