Brian is a property appraiser and also works for a transformer factory. Frances is a cook of all the southern classics. They love to travel, having been to Israel, Turkey, Egypt, West Indies, Bermuda and other destinations. They worship at an Evangelical church.

Jill and Roger are just a 10 minutes’ drive from Fairfax ‘historic’ town center with a small museum and walking tour. There are cinemas, a swimming pool and crazy golf within the immediate area. All the attractions of Washington DC are accessible by car or Metro. Jill is a botanist and works at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Roger works as a liaison officer with maps for the British government. They enjoy folk and classical music, folk dance, mountain biking, and walking. Roger does flower photography. Jill loves quilting and cooking. They fellowship at an Episcopal church.

Washington, DC is 127 miles north east. Herman is a retired college and seminary instructor and pastor. Mary is a retired nursing instructor. Their primary interests lie in genealogy, gospel music, and local history. They worship at a Mennonite church.

Most of Mark and Heidi’s activities center around their church. They attend a Bible Church. They enjoy outdoor activities and wholesome cultural events. Heidi is a Precepts Bible Study teacher. Mark, a family physician, is a Sunday School teacher for 8-9 year olds. He also enjoys golf. Son Jake is 16 years old and enjoys cars, sports and playing the drums. They live close to Richmond and Petersburg and their associated cultural and historical sights and activities. they live approx. 1 hour from Williamsburg and 2 hour drive to Washington, DC, Virginia Beaches and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Bill and Kathy’s log cedar home is located in a rural area that is great for biking through the countryside. They have a large in-ground pool. They are located about 60 miles from historic Williamsburg and the James River Plantations. Richmond, VA is about 25 miles south. Bill and Kathy both work in computer software development. Their interests include camping, bowling, skiing, golf reading and needlepoint. Bill is a Deacon at the Baptist Church they attend in Carson, VA.

Nearby are many theaters and performances, including Chamber Ballet, Symphony Orchestra, Opera, Musical Theater, etc. There are also many museums, including Nauticus, a Naval Museum. Norfolk Botanical Gardens and Busch Gardens are also within a few minutes drive. Terrell is a sports photographer. Beth is a retired massage therapist. They enjoy church activities, walking on the beach, eating ice cream, seeing plays, going to concerts, taking classes, IMax films, going to Barnes and Noble for coffee and reading. They worship at a Baptist church.
